Getting Started....A step by step guide to creating your new website.

Each client is individual and the first step is to establish your exact requirements and your expectations from your new website.  For this we need to either meet up if you live locally or to speak on the telephone.

What we need from you......

It is very useful if you do a little research of your own once you have made the decision to purchase a website.  Look at your competitors websites or any other websites that you like the design elements of, this doesn't mean that we create a exact replica of another website but it does give us an insight into your preferences.  Colour plays an important role in the process so think about any colour schemes you like although this is sometimes determined by matching the colours with an existing company logo or stationery.

Next, think about the navigation of your website.  Navigation, or information bars, can be placed anywhere on a website to point visitors to the information they require.  Many websites are so difficult to navigate that visitors will leave a website within seconds purely because they cannot find the information they are looking for.  This is probably one of the most important design elements to consider as the idea is to keep visitors on your website so they will buy your goods or services. 

Obviously we will have limited knowledge of your particular business and products so we will require you to provide us with your text and digital images in electronic format.

Domain Names.....

If you have an existing website you will already have a domain name.  For new clients we can help you chose, purchase and register a domain name.

Then it's over to us......

Once we have all the relevent information we will design a tailor made website to your exact requirements.  We will then show you the website for your approval or amendments.  We put a lot of thought into this process to ensure it is the style and layout of website that best reflects your business and its aims.
